Verizon expands 4G LTE network into Lake, Osceola counties — expanding reach in Northern Michigan

Verizon Wireless is continuing to expand its 4G LTE network in Michigan. This week, the company rolled out its high-speed wireless network across much of Lake and Osceola counties, including Chase, Evart, Idlewild, LeRoy, Luther, Marion, Reed City and Tustin. The expansion gives Verizon a contiguous 4G LTE footprint along U.S. Route 131 from south of Kalamazoo to Petoskey and then along U.S. 31 north to Mackinaw City.

By mid-2013, the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network will be available in the vast majority of markets where it currently offers 3G service, and by the end of 2013, its 4G LTE network will cover the full 3G footprint.

The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network reaches 273.5 million people across the country – close to 89 percent of the U.S. population – and is now available in more than 480 cities.  For additional details on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network and its coverage, please visit http://verizonwireless.com/lte.
