Verizon expands 4G LTE network into Lake, Osceola counties — expanding reach in Northern Michigan

Verizon Wireless is continuing to expand its 4G LTE network in Michigan. This week, the company rolled out its high-speed wireless network across much of Lake and Osceola counties, including Chase, Evart, Idlewild, LeRoy, Luther, Marion, Reed City and Tustin. The expansion gives Verizon a contiguous 4G LTE footprint along U.S. Route 131 from south of Kalamazoo to Petoskey and then along U.S. 31 north to Mackinaw City.

By mid-2013, the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network will be available in the vast majority of markets where it currently offers 3G service, and by the end of 2013, its 4G LTE network will cover the full 3G footprint.

Samsung Experience Shops will launch in 1,400 Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores nationwide

Samsung has announced that Samsung Experience Shops will launch in 1,400 Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores nationwide, creating a destination where consumers can explore, purchase, activate and service Samsung’s full range of mobile products including smartphones, tablets, laptops, connected cameras and accessories -- all in one location. Within the shops, Samsung Experience Consultants will assist customers with activating mobile products on the carrier of their choice, understanding their device and supporting them throughout the lifecycle of their product.
 
Detroit shoppers will be among the first to have access to the dedicated product space and expertise of the Samsung Experience Consultants, with seven stores rolling out beginning this week. Locations include:

The new openings roll out just in time for the launch of the highly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S 4, which will be available later this quarter. Verizon Wireless is continuing to expand its 4G LTE network in Michigan. This week, the company rolled out its advanced, high-speed wireless network across much of Berrien County, including Baroda, Berrien Springs, Bridgman, Buchanan, Galien, Harbert, Lakeview, Lakeside, New Buffalo and Sawyer.  Verizon’s 4G LTE coverage now extends along US-31 and I-94 south of St. Joseph to the Michigan/Indiana border.

iPhone 5 comes to T-Mobile Friday with new $0 down trade-in offer

T-Mobile USA, Inc. today announced it will supplement its iPhone 5 upfront pricing with a special trade-in offer when the smartphone arrives in T-Mobile stores this Friday, April 12.
